So, I was hitting up Wookieepedia, checking out all of the different storylines and what not when I realized that, unless I just haven't looked hard enough, the Legacy Era of Star Wars, which seems to be the farthest into the future, or rather the less 'Long Time Ago' ish hardly mentions the Mandalorians, if at all. Whether I just didn't see it or not is irrelevant because I've decided to scrap my original Mandalore story, which I didn't like the direction it was going, and star fresh by bringing a more pragmatic Mandalorian perspective back into the Star Wars galaxy. I also deleted my Naruto fan-fics because they weren't that good and I don't like that animanga anymore. Anyways, I really hope this story works the way I want it.

P.S. if anyone has a URL to any pages that have any Mando stuff in the Legacy Era, I'd greatly appreciate it if you sent it to me so I can see wtf is going on with the best warriors ever thought up. ;]

I started on the Mandalorian pic, but it turned out like hell so I chucked it and started over. I can never get the proportions right when it comes to something being closer or further and it kind of pisses me off. My helmet design is going smoothly, though. I can pretty much get that down perfectly with nothing to worry about, but I still can't get the body right unless it's a damn mug-shot. =~= But oh well, I'll just keep at it until I get good at it and soon I'll be doing decent deviations, besides literatures which I'm also currently working on, in no time.

Well, today I was browsing around Deviant art. Saw some cool pics, some weird ones, some that were funny, some that were for gwown ups onwy o.o and then, of course some kick ass, in every form of the word, pics of Mandalorians. I'm, of course, a big time Mandalorian fan. I found a site that let me download the actual language, Mand'oa and another site that let me download the Mandalorian written language. It was so awesome. So, I decided "What the hell!" and I'm now drawing what my Mandalorian armour would look like. When I eventually do make REAL Mandalorian armour, it'll have the whole she-bang. No, no rocket launching jet pack, obviously but it will be made of that tough ceramic they're starting to make the replacements for Kevlar out of and there'll be a thin under-layer of real Kevlar. But, that's for my reasons, and my reasons only. >.> <.< So, yeah I'm drawing my Mandalorian armour, learning how to read, write and speak Mand'oa and recruiting others for my all Mandaloiran gaming clan. I blame George Lucas's genius for my obsession with the Mandalorian culture. Or I guess I could blame Japan, seeing as how the Mandalorians are based off of Samurai. They are usually the only ones who will take on a Jedi with a sword, usually of Cortosis so it doesn't get burned through, they had a main planet called Shogun AND one of their grandest fleets was called Katana after the flagship. But enough ranting, I only have 75 minutes to get this pic outlined before I go beddy bye and then I go to school, exhaust myself at track practice, talk to my gf, log on to Ogame and build up my defenses, log onto Gaia and talk some more with my Gf and others as well and, in the process of all of that, draw my Mandalorian Crusader Armour. Yeah...

This is the first thing I've ever put into Deviant art, besides comments but I'm hoping to change that soon. My drawing skills are a little lacking at the moment but, hopefully if I practice all summer long, during Art I next year and whenever I can from now until then, I figure I'll be drawing decently in no time, I hope. So if and when I do decide to put something up on Deviant art, it will most likely be a fan-fic, piece of random literature or maybe even some poetry, depending on what mood I was in when I felt like being creative. Right now I'm listening to Cradle by Mudvayne and it always puts me in the mood to make a good AMV but there's one problem. I don't have the software to make one. Flash is too damn expensive for my budget, seeing as high school juniors with no jobs don't get payed too much. I have a chore chart and I'll be getting payed 5 bucks per week on every saturday. How sad, right? But it's money and every cent counts when you're saving up for a money maker like Flash, right? I mean one of my friends, well more like acquaintances says that he makes web sites for people and has gotten up to seven hundred dollars for one once. I figure since it costs about eight hundred I could buy the program, make all that back with a few websites and rake in profits. Unfortunately, with my graduation looming up ahead since this year's almost over, if I don't get it done now it's going to be never because I'm shipping out for the Army to become a United States Army Ranger. If you knew me, you'd probably think "No way! You're going to go fight Bush's war?" and I'd Just say yes, because my president, my country and my loved ones and friends all need people like that to live on and I want to be one of those people that they need. With the next election coming up I'm a little fearful that the next president will pull us out of Iraq denying me the feeling of self-worth, honor and discipline I like to think I deserve. But this is all just for experience until my best friend and I put together the Mandalorian Armada, call us nerds if you want, I could care less, and at least try to take over the world. But the way we're going to go about doing that is reserved for members of our alliance only. Well, this hasn't been a bad entry for my first post, asside from commenting. Hopefully the rest of my stuff will be just as good as this, if not better. Thanks for taking the time to read this.
